| Description | The Bryanston Guest House, set in a one-acre garden, offers warm hospitality and exceptionally comfortable and well appointed accommodation at affordable rates in Bryanston, northern Johannesburg, Gauteng.
Our quiet situation in a security-boomed cul-de-sac in Bryanston belies its proximity to shops, business areas and several main arterial roads. As we opened early in 2009, everything is fresh and new and we have been awarded 4 Star status by the South African Tourism Grading Council. Your hosts are Germaine and Digby Lorimer, who will gladly assist you with information and arrangements to make your stay a pleasant and memorable experience. Accommodation Our guest wing, separate from the main house, has four spacious bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom and its own access to a private patio, all linked to its own dining room and sun lounge. Each bedroom has a queen sized extra-length bed, a desk, easy chairs, flat screen television set with DSTV access, 24-hour ADSL Internet access, tea-making facilities, under floor heating and an overhead fan. Facilities The lounge area is for you to use if you want somewhere different to sit or meet with other guests. This overlooks the guest house garden which is separate from the main garden. We also try to provide an eco-friendly environment, including the provision of solar water heating and having only showers in the bathrooms. All parking is undercover on our fully secured property. Breakfast The guest house dining room / lounge is where we provide a Continental breakfast, served from the fully equipped kitchen, which is also available for use by our guests. ADDITIONAL SERVICES A safe is provided in each room for valuables Same day laundry is available on request Meals arranged on request Airport transfers, other transport and tours by arrangement Sound property security with remote control access and security company back up LOCATION Bryanston Guest House is very accessible to Sandton City and the Sandton business district, Fourways, Montecasino, Sunninghill, Rivonia, Woodmead, Lonehill and Kyalami. These areas offer some of the best entertainment Johannesburg and South Africa has to offer, including movies, shops, restaurants, theatres, bars and clubs. In addition, there are two smaller shopping centres 5-10 minutes away. There is easy access to the main arterial roads leading to Pretoria, the airport and the West Rand (N1, M1, N3) which makes this an ideal location for the business or personal traveller.
