| Description | Teremok is Russian for “little hideaway” and we hope that our boutique lodge provides you with just that … an oasis of calm, a place to retire to enjoy the finer things in life. Teremok Riverside is a heady destination where guests are able to connect with nature within an urban environment. Without exception, they all rub their eyes in disbelief at the theatrical setting which is presided over by majestic bushwillow and white stinkwood trees.
The African bush setting allows an inviting view outwards and encourages guests to explore the finer details such as the poolside gazebo with its views back towards the lodge, the comfort of loungers around the pool or the serenity of one of the many water features. At the foot of the garden, which reverberates with the call of birds, the gurgling Jukskei River entices guests out of their rooms to marvel at the silence and embrace the landscape. In the morning, they need no excuse to throw open the door to their private balcony and sip freshly brewed coffee as they contemplate the sun rise over the river. Hidden in the city of Johannesburg is Teremok Riverside, the ultimate urban cocoon. Prestigiously positioned in the Fourways area, Teremok Riverside offers a serene, home-away-from-home experience for the most discerning of business executives and leisure travelers alike. It is close to Fourways Mall (2km), Montecasino (5km) and Lonehill Village (3km). The closest airport to us is Lanseria (20km) and OR Tambo is a mere 43km away. Accommodation Every inch of Teremok Riverside clearly illustrates the meticulous attention to details that has gone into creating the ultimate in luxury accommodation. Each of our suites has been named to reflect an element of Teremok or its history. This specific theme has been carried through from the individually decorated suites to fragranced toiletries that have been specially developed, mood CDs and confectionery all of which are room-specific, and help to create an enchanting atmosphere. All suites boast extra-length king size, or twin beds, air-conditioning (heating & cooling units), and private balconies. The open plan bathrooms have large rain-dance showers, freestanding baths, double-basins and separate toilets with bidets. Extras include home entertainment systems with LCD screens and DVD players, iPod docking stations, as well as complimentary ADSL Internet connection in every room. We have a collection of over a hundred DVD’s for our guests to enjoy. Breakfast A full breakfast is available between 06h30 and 09h00 on weekdays and 08h00 and 10h00 on weekends, and tea and coffee are always available. We will also gladly assist with any plans you wish to make during your stay. There are no restaurant facilities at Teremok at this stage, but lunch and dinner can be arranged upon request. The Wellness Centre Teremok Riverside also has a Wellness Centre with gym facility and two treatment rooms with two full-time therapists, where occupants are encouraged to shrug off everyday woes and restore balance and harmony to mind, body and soul. The Boardroom The Executive Boardroom, for up to 14 guests, is ideal for small intimate groups who will find inspiration in our tranquil setting, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. A unique atrium is the focal point which augments the notion of peace and tranquility while also promoting a mood of restful contemplation. Invigorated by the energy which resonates from the magnificent cascading waterfall, this is an inimitable and serene space that is tactile and visually stimulating. Notes All rooms are non-smoking.
